About this tool

Queries DNS records directly from your browser using DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) via Cloudflare's public resolver (cloudflare-dns.com/dns-query, RFC 8484 JSON format). Nothing is sent to this site — requests go straight from your browser to Cloudflare's anycast network.

Supported record types

A / AAAA — IPv4 and IPv6 addresses a hostname resolves to
CNAME — Canonical-name alias (redirects to another name)
MX — Mail exchange servers with priority
NS — Authoritative nameservers for the domain
TXT — Arbitrary text; auto-detects SPF, DMARC, DKIM, MTA-STS, BIMI
SOA — Start of Authority (zone serial, refresh/retry/expire intervals)
CAA — Certificate Authority Authorization (limits which CAs can issue TLS certs)
PTR — Reverse DNS (IP address → hostname)
SRV — Service locator records (used by SIP, XMPP, etc.)

Tips

For DMARC: query _dmarc.yourdomain.com TXT
For DKIM: query selector._domainkey.yourdomain.com TXT
For reverse DNS: enter the IP in 4.3.2.1.in-addr.arpa format and select PTR
